Two-Day Seminar Description
Whether you are quilt-maker interested in perfecting skills and knowledge, a quilt professional such as a teacher or appraiser, or someone interested in becoming a quilt judge, this seminar provides a thorough foundation in all aspects of quilt judging.
Participants will engage in activities on evaluating design and workmanship, the job of judging, judging terminology, and judging floor set-up.
NACQJ Qualified Instructors will teach through demonstrations, handouts, homework, and hands-on judging exercises.
While certification requirements by the only national certifying organization for quilt judges are discussed, this seminar does not certify students nor is it a prerequisite for certification.
